Born and raised in North East Victoria, then lucky enough to live in Sydney, Brisbane, Darwin and now Townsville, I’ve seen some beautiful parts of Australia. I have 2 gorgeous sons, now 21 and 23 (where did that time go!), and a beautiful 30 year old step-daughter. And 2 little white fluffy dogs and 2 old sleepy cats. When I’m not shooting, I love bumming around at home and in my garden, doing yoga or heading to the gym, cooking, hanging out with friends and checking out the local cafe scene, reading and, of course, taking photos and videos! I’m longing to travel the west coast of Australia and Tasmania at some time, with cameras in tow, of course! After that, Morocco, Italy…for a start!

I’ve always loved taking photos, but got serious about it when my youngest son started playing representative basketball. Of course, when you buy one specialty lens, there will always be more to follow…it’s an addiction!

I started Sapphire Soul Photography as a side hustle in 2021. In 2025, I included videography and changed the name to Sapphire Soul Creative. The amazing thing about photography is that you start seeing beauty everywhere - light and shadow, mood, emotion, connection, and you know when you hit the shutter that you’ve got the shot…it’s always a buzz. Videography is so different, but still just as exciting. The entire time you are shooting, you are thinking about how to sew all the pieces together to tell a story. I love capturing both. The emotion, the smiles, the laughter, the happy tears, the connection.
